It seems that no matter what, I have to get my weekly fix of a visit to Home Depot. I always seem to find something else that I need for something… today it was a silly roll of drywall tape. |

| @ 11:16 pm | 0 Comments Home Improvement Made some REALLY good progress on the bathroom today, and this past week. Melissa got legalprofessionals everything painted–a couple of times. After the first coat, there was a destinct depression at all of the seams that I didn’t like, so I applied more mud. Of course, Melissa had to paint again, but we were both glad that we did it–it was kind of depressing to see it after all of the effor that went into it. Adding the additional mud and re-painting made things MUCH nicer. Today, I got the inner-most shower walls up. I’ll get the outer-most walls up tomorrow as well as install the valves, sink, and set the toilet. I also got the laminate flooring installed as I had hoped. I’m back on schedule to have this bathroom operational by the end of tomorrow and hopefully get the inspector out here next week to sign off on it before we go on vacation next weekend. |
