The only thing new is a bunch of Discover science stations, and BBC America. There’s nothing duller than BBC America. And fuck science. We called the cable company and complained, and they promised to freeform send a guy out to check the bad picture. freeform He showed up nearly a week later, and couldn’t find a problem. He freeform acknowledged there was a problem, he just couldn’t figure out the source of it. Somebody who works outdoors would have to take a look at all our outside connections, he said. We’re still waiting for the outdoors guy to show up. Also the company says we should see all the fabulous new channels in a few weeks, that they’re just being added to the system now. This little detail wasn’t mentioned at the kiosk for some reason. It goes without saying that we're not paying the extra ten bucks this month, and if they keep it up I’m buying a goddamn satellite dish.
