(band) said something very much like that further down in my last post. Initially, I was speaking only to jobs the new job created in this economy. I was challenging zyx's statement that "In other words, for every new minimum wage job created there were many more high-paying jobs created." I think you would agree this is badly stated. As you say, the median income statistic is not a good descriptor at all of the kinds of shifts you describe; but by definition, the flat state of median income from 2003-4 does show that zyx's initial statement is untrue, or perhaps just badly worded. |
